Executive Assistant to Entrepreneur, Pineapple Co

Pineapple Co is the home of Maneesh K Goyal’s entrepreneurial endeavors where he discovers, incubates, launches, and supports new ventures. With exciting new projects on the horizon, we are looking for an Executive Assistant to join Pineapple Co and be the strategic partner to a prolific entrepreneur.

This is a unique position best suited for someone who thrives on the dynamic process of helping to develop an idea and then project manage it until the desired end result is achieved. While there is a trusted network of partners & vendors that Pineapple Co engages with day-to-day, this is an otherwise 2-person team: Maneesh & the assistant.

Maneesh is pivoting his own career with a few projects in the hospitality industry; as such the candidate must have a strong interest and/or background in this industry.

Along with administering the daily responsibilities, you will be given the opportunity & expected to ideate, problem solve, and project manage a variety of projects at various stages of incubation. (Read: many many balls-in-the-air at any given time.) You will also be highly adept in both written and verbal correspondence.

We are looking for a candidate who is social media savvy, an advocate for social causes (as Goyal sits on various boards), and thrives in a fast paced, all-hands-on-deck environment. If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities include:

  • Anticipating needs and provide high-level, tailored administrative support to Entrepreneur
  • Managing a busy professional and personal calendar, prioritizing appointments based on Entrepreneur’s objectives
  • Arranging details and coordinating day-of logistics for all meetings/appointments
  • Drafting and managing e-mail and written correspondence on behalf of the CEO
  • Planning, managing, and overseeing logistics for personal and professional events at Entrepreneur’s residences and outside venues (team off-sites, dinner parties, political fundraisers, etc.)
  • Providing administrative support for high-level strategic projects
  • Collaborating with Social Media Manager to aid in Entrepreneur’s social media presence by providing visual assets and admin support
  • Managing and organizing Entrepreneur’s contacts, address book, meeting database, and filing system
  • Coordinating and managing expense reporting
  • Assisting with property management at Entrepreneur’s residence(s), liaising with vendors as necessary
  • Running personal errands and various other administrative tasks as assigned

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Have at least 2+ years of prior executive/personal assistant experience supporting a senior executive preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Be a highly motivated self-starter with the capacity to handle tight deadlines and adapt quickly to shifting environments
  • Have meticulous attention to detail and diligently follow through on every task
  • Have strong interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills including being comfortable interacting with high level executives
  • Be methodical in proactively anticipating needs and effectively prioritizing responsibilities
  • Interest and experience identifying and implementing processes and procedures to improve work efficiency and productivity
  • Seamlessly and fluidly shift between professional and personal tasks
  • Have a flexible schedule, with the ability to be available by phone/email on nights and weekends
  • Possess excellent judgment, personal discretion, and confidentiality
  • Must have a valid and current Driver’s License

This is a full-time salaried position with full benefits. You must be based in New York City.
