Job Description

The Business Development Sales Manager is responsible for making inroads with prospective clients and marketing the agency as a whole.  This person will work with the department head to identify new client revenue opportunities and generate leads with clients who are actively looking for agency partners.

Responsibilities

Event Producer

MKG is looking for a passionate, driven Producer to join the team!

The position will be responsible for producing large-scale programs for MKG’s Los Angeles Office, and also assist the Director of Production in overseeing smaller scale projects and freelance production staff. Project management and oversight are central to this position. This person must be organized, self-motivated, and able to think creatively and quickly, and must be able to approach unique problems in new ways. The ability to work as part of a team is also critical for this position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Skillfully producing large-scale MKGW Events/Programs including, but not limited to:

    • Developing and managing event budgets and reconciling budgets post event; meet profit goals.
    • Develop project documentation including: deliverable timelines, production schedules, run of show, etc.
    • Sourcing venues and vendors and negotiating contracts with venues and vendors.
    • Liaising with in-house Creative, Design and Operations divisions.
    • Obtaining City permits
    • Managing vendor relationships and deliverables to ensure seamless execution and highest quality.

    The Freelance Associate Producer will support Producers and Senior Producers on individual agency projects as contracted in our New York Office.     You will bring 4 to 6 years of relevant experience with the ability to pitch, source, and execute engaging digital and interactive campaigns across a variety of different brands and categories.     Requirements:

    Reporting to the Sr. Project Manager, the Project Manager will oversee assigned projects from start to finish. The candidate should have a broad knowledge of fabrication techniques specific to special events, staging, theater, and retail displays. They should possess experience producing multifaceted and complex
    custom builds in addition to managing installations and strikes . They should also work well in collaborative environments, be extremely well organized, comfortable engaging with clients, and adept at maintaining professional correspondence.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
    • Oversee project from inception to completion
    • Anticipate clients needs and proactively provide solutions
    • Extract, compile and organize all documents and information pertaining to an event or project
    • Attend site visits and document detailed notes of the venue/delivery site
    • Maintain project budget while tracking labor and expenses billed against project
    • Oversee the fabrication, installation and load-out of all elements within the scope of a project
    • Ensure production, quality, and timeline are met to satisfy the client in a cost effective manner
    • Maintain discipline to procedures, in accordance with safety, quality, engineering, human resources, and finance department guidelines
    • Support internal department leads throughout lifespan of project
