Job Description

We’re searching for a smart, strategic, and relationship-driven individual to lead the business development efforts in our NYC office. The Associate Director of Business Development will report into the Director of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships and be responsible for evaluating and responding to new business opportunities with new and recurring clients. This person will manage a team of two direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with DMSP to evaluate and prioritize incoming RFPs
  • Lead all agency proposals; attend all client pitches as well as capes meetings (when applicable)
  • Guide internal team to create innovative solutions based on knowledge of client’s business; develop best in class proposals
  • Partner with Creative team to elevate idea delivery
  • Contribute new ideas to continuously improve the agency’s strategic and competitive advantage
  • Guide career development of direct reports, create opportunities for their growth

Requirements

  • 8 yrs experience in the creative agency and/or experiential marketing space
  • Strong understanding of production budgeting needs for proposals

Freelance Associate Event Producer

The Freelance Associate Producer will support Producers and Senior Producers on individual agency projects as contracted in our New York Office. Project management and attention to detail are central to this position. The position sits between our creative team and our production team and you are a hybrid of the two. Your vast knowledge and excitement for technology will complement our creative ideas and elevate our work. You're not just a creative thinker though, you also love tinkering and figuring out how to make ideas into realities.

You will bring 4 to 6 years of relevant experience with the ability to pitch, source, and execute engaging digital and interactive campaigns across a variety of different brands and categories. You are an encyclopedia of emerging technologies and how they are being used in the brand marketing world.

You are a creative thinker and a problem solver with a strong blend of creative ideas and project management skills. Since every project is unique in execution, you're able to dictate and build custom teams.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years experience concepting, pitching, and executing interactive campaigns.
  • Can work in a lead role developing strong creative ideas for digital experiences
  • Is a wizard when it comes to current trends surrounding technology in experiential marketing
  • Has a robust roster of contacts to call upon including production shops, digital artists. Developers, coders, creators, technologists, etc

The Freelance Senior Producer will oversee individual agency projects as contracted, and manage client relationships in our New York Office.

Client and project management/oversight are central to this position as the Senior Producer drives the project and process. This role will manage an internal team - freelance and full-time producers on a project-by-project basis.  This person must be organized, self-motivated, able to think creatively and quickly, and must be able to approach unique problems in new ways. The ability to work as part of a team is also critical for this position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Production

  • Managing and Executing multi channel projects that include live experiential events, video production and social and digital driven initiatives
  • Developing a detailed plan of action leading it through completion and ensuring that the project is running smoothly during all phases.
  • Working cross-functionally (internally and externally) to ensure all deliverables and deadlines are identified and managed day-to-day in order to successfully meet expectations and project goals
  • Managing production staff, including assigning individual responsibilities and setting deadlines and deliverables.
  • Translating creative ideas into project plans and deliverables.
  • Ensuring that integrated event solutions are innovative and strategically relevant, building brand equity and delivering results for the client.
  • Overseeing the creation and maintenance of critical project tracking and documentation.
  • Developing and managing budgets, handling vendor contract and fee negotiations, ensuring billing and invoicing terms and processes are met
  • Managing onsite teams to ensure the seamless installation and execution.

Production Intern Duties:

  • Supporting in scheduling meetings for attendees, sponsorship, speakers and attending these meetings.
  • Working directly with the producers and branding agency to put together the speaker kits and attendee booklets.
  • Be available to onsite for the conference in June and September to assist in production needs.
