Head of Business Partnerships

San Francisco, CA, United States

Live Grey is looking for a relationship-driven Head of Business Partnerships to create meaningful, long-lasting relationships with national and multinational companies as a trusted advisor to help those companies deepen connections and strengthen their culture. You’ll work closely with other senior members of the team to develop a repeatable sales strategy for Live Grey and cultivate a pipeline of quality partnerships through an already well-developed network. On any given day you’ll meet with clients in person, attend client events, and partner with marketing to convert leads - all while creating relationships that invite true culture transformation, and not just superficial engagement.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to leverage their experiences in culture change and strategic partnerships, work with a growing team, and deliver results through a thoughtful approach.

You’re the kind of person who:

  • Takes time out of their day to practice mindfulness - you’re always present and there for those around you
  • Notices a lot about people, even in casual conversation
  • People naturally see you as a confidant - you easily develop genuine, trustful relationships/partnerships wherever you go!

About LIVE GREY

Live Grey is making work more human. Through qualitative and quantitative data gathering and analysis, we find our clients’ pain points and resolve them through our main product offerings: offsite retreats, workshops, consultations, and culture conferences. With insights gathered from these analyses and through explorations of values and purpose, we connect people to themselves, their colleagues, and their companies.

In this job you will:

  • Build a pipeline of vetted, qualified leads by devising and executing strategies to increase long-term engagement with prospective and current clients in New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area
  • Identify and recommend the products from our current offerings (such as team offsites, conferences, and culture consulting) that best meet clients’ specific needs
  • Consult with our Head of Culture + Strategy and CEO to strategize and brainstorm future products based on evolving client and market  needs
  • Set ambitious sales goals and develop sustainable strategies that reliably turn prospective customers into deeply engaged clients and repeat customers
  • Partner closely with the marketing team and partner agency to build marketing programs that generate and convert leads

What makes you a great fit for this role:

  • National and multinational-level clients have seen you as a trusted advisor and you have built meaningful, long-lasting partnerships with these organizations
  • You’re great at selling through fostering genuine mutually-beneficial, long-term partnerships (you’re NOT a “master of the hard sell”)
  • You have studied how team dynamics and company culture affect work environments, see lots of potential for exciting developments in this space OR you have personally championed and oversaw initiatives that have done so.
  • You easily gain meaningful, actionable insights about clients’ needs through individual meetings with high level stakeholders
  • You thrive on a small, growing, and ever-evolving team
  • You’ve found out how a deeper engagement and connection with your work has improved your working life, and want as many people to experience that as possible!
